Former Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has come out of retirement to join Northern Premier League side AFC Rushden & Diamonds. The move comes ahead of the club's upcoming FA Cup fixture against Burton Albion. Sharp, a veteran of the professional game, will be available for selection for the cup tie.
